New Exhibition Starman 1947-2016 pays tribute to the late David Bowie

On January 10th 2016, British music icon and legend David Bowie passed away at the age of 69.

In the intervening days, weeks and months there has been numerous tributes paid to the star; at awards galas, second line parades, and impromptu sing-alongs around the world. Now in Australia, there is to be another tribute.

An exhibition of photographs of the late star; featuring the work of world-renowned photographers Brian Duffy, Terry O’Neill, Mick Rock, Justin De Villeneuve and Lynn Goldsmith, will be on display in Sydney.

Some of the most famous and iconic photographs of the “Starman” will be on display and available for purchase at the Blender Gallery in Sydney. Amongst them, for the first time in Australia, will be the iconic photographs of David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane by Brian Duffy; which will be available exclusively at Blender Gallery.

The exhibition Starman 1947-2016, A Tribute to David Bowie opened at the weekend and will run to April 2nd 2016 at the Blender Gallery, Elizabeth St, Paddington, Sydney.
