Carclew has been a youth arts hub for young adults for many years and offers a range of opportunities for the under 26. The #nofilter Fair and open day was a way to showcase some of the arts on offer, including visual arts and music with Emma Rowe releasing a new single and video.
Headspace created a treasure hunt with attractions such as the big lobster and Farmer’s Union Ice Coffee some of the clues to find. For the kids, there were some games set up and a lucky dip stall which was quite good value.
Moroccan food was the favourite on the day and wine and beer from South Australian suppliers was available for the adults. A lovely sunny day in the courtyard of Carclew house, which was struggling for numbers with everything else going on that day.
Hopefully #nofilter can maintain the momentum and come back bigger and better next year.
