Eric Andre announces Australian stand-up debut

It’s time to ranch it up! One of the hottest comedians in the world right now, Eric Andre, has just announced that, for the very first time, he’ll be coming down to tour (some of) Australia before the year is over, performing twin stand-up shows in Melbourne and Sydney. The man’s daring and boundary-pushing approach to awkward-as-hell comedy has seen his Adult Swim hit, The Eric Andre Show rise in popularity over the years, and if you’ve been watching then you know this is going to be one unforgettable tour.

The outlandish, off-kilter comedian, who also steals the show in Man Seeking Woman, will first be heading to Melbourne where he will perform twice at the Comic’s Lounge (Dec 7th-8th) before he scoots up to Sydney to play the Comedy Store (Dec 9th-10th). All four shows have been slapped with an obvious 18+ tag, although under 18s can head along to the Sydney shows as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian.

While we don’t know what to expect, may we remind you that Andre’s buddy Hannibal Buress will be touring Australia a week earlier and wraps up just two days before Eric gets here. Could we be seeing the long-awaited showdown between bird up and snail down, live? Will Kraft Punk get involved? Will we finally get answers to 311? Only time will tell.

Frontier Members will have access to a pre-sale that runs from 2pm AEDT Tuesday 4th October HERE. General sale will commence at 10am local time on Thursday 6th October.
