Centenary Park set to be taken over by ten street artists

Over the next two weeks, Centenary Park will be turned into an outdoor art studio as street artists are let loose throughout Parramatta Square development as part of the Live Walls Project.

Funded by the Parramatta City Council and the Walker Corporation and in partnership with Work-Shop, the Live Walls is an organisation based on creativity, providing life and alternative art skills.

A line-up of ten artists will be displaying their work as part of the Live Walls Project,  creating live artworks where anyone in Centenary Park can watch each artwork unfold. Running from Monday March 14 – Thursday March 24, a different artist will be featured each day.

At the conclusion of the event, all artworks will be auctioned, with all the proceeds going toward the Parramatta Mission, an organisation that provides services to homeless, people living in crisis and people suffering from mental illness.
