The legend that is George Michael left us at the end of last year, and this week the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will be paying tribute with the Praying For Time concert at the Sydney Opera House. To get your head around this new production of the 1677 play The Rover – brought to Sydney’s Belvoir St Theatre by acclaimed director Eamon Flack – have a read of Flack’s “Director’s Note” over on the Belvoir website. He sells this show better than we ever could. It sounds like an excellent production, and features an incredible cast, including Toby Schmitz and Nikki Shiels. This past weekend saw the opening of Vivid Sydney events all across the city, so we headed along to one of the festival’s most unique locations, Taronga Zoo.
